This course has been developed to meet the incident investigation unit (formerly S2 of the Supervisor S123 course) requirements in the mining industry for a Mining Supervisor. This unit provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to conduct safety and health investigations in the workplace (in the mining industry) and is compulsory for all Supervisors to have in Qld alongside two applicable units to be appointed to give direction/instruction onsite as a supervisor of workers.
