COURSE OUTCOMES

Successful participants will be able to issue, monitor and control work
permits. Specific learning outcomes include:

  • Review and improving risk assessments
  • The types of activities that require a permit
  • The permitting process
  • Roles and responsibilities within a permit system
  • Typical controls for permitted activities

ON-SITE DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Participants must wear site approved work wear and PPE. For delivery at a client site the following must be provided to meet the outcomes of the course:

  • Suitable classroom and training equipment
  • Suitable work environment to undertake the practical training and assessment?
  • Relevant workplace procedures and supporting documentation for hot works, confined space entry and working at heights
