COURSE OUTCOMES

Successful participants will be able to identify hazards, assess risks, implement
appropriate risk treatments, complete the required paperwork, and supervise
employees working at heights, to AS4360.

Specific topics include:

  • Conduct and document a risk assessment for working at heights
  • Access documented resources for working at height
  • Understand and apply common working at heights controls (e.g. EWPs,Scaffold, Harnesses)
  • Perform safe job planning for work at heights
  • Supervise compliance with a Working at Height Permit

ON-SITE DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

Participants must wear site approved work wear and PPE. For delivery at a client site the following must be provided to meet the outcomes of the course:

  • Suitable classroom area
  • Relevant site procedures and supporting documentation for work at height
  • A structure for conducting risk assessments for a number of work at height scenarios
